Interface and Agent timezones

N-sight RMM contains two components — the cloud-based interface and the endpoint monitoring module (Agent).

When you configure a feature or function, you may be prompted to select a schedule for it to run. How and when this takes place depends on the component the feature or function applies to.

  • Interface level — the run-time is based on your N-sight RMM interface local time. Reports including the Server Client Weekly Report is an example of an interface level function.
  • Agent level — the run-time is based on the local time of the device where the Agent is installed. The Daily Safety Check is an example of an Agent level function.

    The date and time reported on the All Devices view for the Agent, Checks, Automated Tasks, and so on is based on the local time of the device where the Agent is installed.

If your All Devices view includes Clients, Sites or Devices in different timezones, ensure features or functions do not run at an inappropriate time. One suggestion to alleviate this is to set a custom schedule at the Client, Site or Device level based on their timezone.
