Custom customer properties
Customer custom properties allow you to store and manage customer-specific information in N-central. Use these properties to define values including service tier, contract type, location, or other business-specific details that apply to a customer or site.
Where customer custom properties apply
The level at which you create a custom property determines where it is available. Customer custom properties apply at the customer or site level, and can be used across devices associated with the customer.
You can also create customer custom properties at the SO level. This requires system-level access which is typically only available in on-premises deployments.
Using customer custom properties
Customer custom properties can be used in filters, rules, and automation workflows to apply customer-specific behavior. As well as to provide values to automation policies when different customers require different inputs.
Custom property types
Customer custom properties support multiple types, including:
- Text.
- Date.
- URL.
- Drop-down list.
- Password.
Access Custom Properties
In the left-hand navigation menu, click Administration > Custom Properties.
