Add a URL custom property for a customer

Create a URL custom property to store links associated with a customer or site, including documentation, portals, support resources, or other reference URLs for use in filters, rules, or reporting.

  1. In the left-hand navigation menu, go to Administration > Custom Properties.
  2. Click Add > By Customers > URL Type.

  3. Enter a descriptive Property Name.
  4. Enter the Default URL, if required.

    5. For example, enter a website or reference URL, or leave the value blank if it will be set later.

  5. Select the Customers and Sites the new choice list will apply to.
  6. Choose how the property should propagate to new Service Organizations, Customers, or Sites.
  7. Select Save.

The custom property is automatically applied to the selected customers and sites. If required, you can change the value of the property later for individual service organizations, customers, or sites.
