HTML Editors
Mail Templates contain two configurable sections which allow you to customize the content to determine how the message is displayed based on the format in use by the recipient's mail client, Plain Text or HTML.
To provide a personalised experience for the customer, both formats support the use of substitutions strings to include elements from the Dashboard. For example the Device or Site name.
For the Plain Text Message you can amended the entered text, whereas HTML contains two edit options:
Visual HTML Message Editor
For basic manipulation, change the content and styling of the template in the HTML Message window
HTML Source Editor
For advanced manipulation, the HTML source may be edited directly by clicking the HTML button. Apply changes click Update to save and return to the Mail Template dialog
Click OK to save the edited Mail Template and exit the dialog.
