Requirements for Script Repository
System requirements
Script Repository requires the Modern Agent, which is included automatically in the following agent versions:
- Windows Agent version 10.14.2 or later (Update the Windows Agent).
- Linux Agent version 2.2.0 or later (Update the Linux Agent).
- macOS Agent version 3.10.0 or later (Update the Mac Agent).
User permissions
Script Repository permissions vary depending on the tasks a user performs.
Admin and SuperUser roles include all of the Script Repository permissions by default. These permissions cannot be modified or disabled.
On the Roles and Permissions page, in the Ecoverse section, expand Script Repository. Then enable the permissions needed for the tasks below:
- Manage: Users can add, edit, duplicate and delete scripts within their scope and below, as well as view and duplicate scripts created above their scope.
- View: Users can view scripts within their assigned scope and above, but cannot edit, manage, or duplicate scripts at any level.
- Run Script: Users can run scripts within their scope on assets that are also in their scope.
