N-able Login with Entra ID (New)
N-able integrates Microsoft Entra ID into N-able Login to provide secure, federated authentication across supported products. You can use Microsoft Entra ID as an external identity provider to automate the way users are provisioned, managed, and authenticated.
After you set up N-able Login with Entra ID:
- Users can sign in to N-able Login with their Microsoft credentials using Entra ID authentication.
- You can provision and deprovision user accounts using Microsoft Entra ID.
- Supports Microsoft Conditional Access so you can apply your specific security policies during authentication.
- Applies any sign-in conditions configured for N-able products.
If you already use Entra ID workflows, you can use them to automate provisioning and deprovisioning.
How it works
The N-able User Provisioning application creates N-able user accounts based on your Microsoft Entra ID directory. After you configure and enable provisioning, you don't need to create users manually in N-sight. If you remove a user from the assigned group or disable their Entra ID account, the system automatically revokes their access to N-able.
Authentication and identity management changes
Enabling Entra ID changes how users authenticate and how identity is managed in N-able products.
- After you enable Entra ID, all supported N-able products that use N-able Login follow the new sign‑in experience.
- For provisioned users, Microsoft Entra ID becomes the authoritative identity provider. You manage user details, access policies, and security settings in Entra ID instead of in N-able.
- You cannot create or manage Agent Key users in Microsoft Entra ID.
N-able User Provisioning application
The N-able User Provisioning application is an enterprise application in the Microsoft Entra gallery. After you create and configure the app, you use it to provision and manage Entra ID users.
