Network Device Monitoring
In addition to servers, workstations, and mobiles, you may have other devices connected to the network that you want to monitor but that don't support an agent or app.
With Network Device Monitoring, you can run checks against SNMP-enabled devices such as routers, switches, firewalls and printers.
For example, you can monitor toner and paper levels on a printer or interface connectivity on a router.
You can configure email or SMS alerts if a check fails or the device loses connectivity.
Network Device Monitoring utilizes Network Discovery to detect network-connected devices and run checks. These checks run every five minutes against monitored devices.
After you enable Network Discovery and place a network under management, you can select target devices in the All Devices view and enable monitoring after the initial scan is complete.
