Check N-central requirements for N-zo
Before activating N-zo, ensure your N-central environment meets the following requirements.
N-zo is not available in N-central for CMMC Compliance environments.
Before you can use N-zo with N-central, ensure your environment meets the following Assets view version, authentication, and deployment requirements.
Requirements
Hosted
A valid hosted N-able Login or N-able Login with Entra ID.
On-premises

N-central 2026.2 or later (release notes).

A valid N-able Login or N-able Login with Entra ID.

Analytics opt-in to enable Cloud Eventing.

Modern agent installed on devices.
Configure security exclusions
N-zo relies on data collected by the Modern Agent. Security software that blocks or inspects the Modern Agent can prevent it from being installed, running correctly, or communicating with our servers As a result, device data may not be collected or transmitted, which can lead to missing devices or incomplete information in N-zo results.
Add exclusions in security solutions, including antivirus, firewalls, and web-monitoring software, for the Modern Agent executable and its supporting files used by Ecoverse features. Where endpoint protection is in use (for example, Cisco Secure Endpoint), ensure the files are allow-listed to prevent blocking or inspection during download, execution, or communication.
The files are downloaded and installed to feature-specific directories within the following locations:
