Enable N-zo access using roles

You control who can configure and use N-zo by assigning AI permissions through roles. Users inherit the permissions assigned to their roles. Assign updated or custom roles to users who need N-zo access.

Choose the right permission level

Select permissions based on whether the role needs to configure N-zo, use N-zo, or both.

By default, standard staff roles include the AI View permission, and Administrator or SuperUser roles include the AI Management permission. If your organization requires restricted access to N-zo, review your default roles and adjust them as needed, or configure custom roles with the specific permissions required.

Configure N-central permissions

Go to Administration > User Management > Roles.
Create a new role, or click an existing role (such as a default role) to edit it.
In the Ecoverse/ Ask N-zo section, select the required permission level:
- Manage or Read-only to grant access.
- None to remove AI access.
If required, assign any additional permissions needed to access the product data users will query through N-zo.
Save the role.

Configure N-sight permissions

Go to Settings > Users > Roles & Permissions.
Add a new role, or edit or clone an existing role.
In the Ecoverse / AI Management section, configure the AI permissions:
- Select View AI and/or Manage AI to grant access.
- Tick the checkboxes in the Deny all column to remove AI access.
If required, assign any additional permissions needed to access the product data users will query through N-zo.
Save the role.

Permission changes may not immediately take effect. If a user still sees an access denied message after you've updated their role, allow a few minutes for the changes to propagate and ask them to try again.
