Configure alerts for workstations

In N-sight RMM, you can configure if email or SMS alerts are generated when a problem is reported and you can set up subsequent recovery alerts when the problem is resolved.

The recovery Alert is useful when used with an email based ticketing system to close the ticket for the Check outage or to make any on-call technicians aware of the change to the Check status.

You have full control over when these notifications are generated and their delivery method (email and/or SMS). You can configure Check Alerts at the global level using the default alert policy, or at the device level and check level as shown below.

To configure the Alert email template to match your requirements, see Configure Mail Templates .

The alert notification routing you have configured is applied to the Client's associated workstations.

Data Overdue and Data Received Alerts are not generated for workstations.

Single Alert on Daily Safety Check failure

Rather than send a notification every time a specific check fails, Daily Safety Check failures only generate and send a single notification when that check initially fails until the Check passes.

Clearing a check, which then subsequently fails will also not resend an alert.
