Supported operating systems

This article lists the supported operating systems for the Take Control components.

Take Control might work on other operating systems. These environments are unsupported, and issue resolution is not guaranteed.

Server Core operating systems might not display certain elements (such as command prompts) in a way that Take Control can capture. Use RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) within the Take Control session because it references remote objects instead of capturing the screen. RDP must be enabled on the remote device.
