Exclusions for security solutions
This article lists the Take Control components that you may need to exclude from your security solutions, such as Anitvirus, XDR (Extended Detection and Response) or MDR (Managed Detection and Response).
Take Control agent
Add the following components to your exclusion list (only necessary if being actively blocked):
C:\Program Files (x86)\BeAnywhere Support Express\GetSupportService\BASupSrvc.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\BeAnywhere Support Express\GetSupportService\BASupSrvcCnfg.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\BeAnywhere Support Express\GetSupportService\BASupSrvcUpdater.exe
Take Control applet
Add the following components to your exclusion list (only necessary if being actively blocked):
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\BeAnywhere Support Express\GetSupport\BASupApp.exeC:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\BeAnywhere Support Express\GetSupport\BASupAppElev.exeC:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\BeAnywhere Support Express\GetSupport\BASupAppSrvc.exe
Technician console
Exclude the following where you are unable to connect to devices from the console:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\BeAnywhere Support Express\Console\BASEClient.exe
