User password settings

When you add a new user to N-sight RMM, the system sends a verification email with a link to set their password. After setting the password, the user is prompted to Set up 2FA for your account for their account.

Users can manage their own details, email (username), and password without administrative assistance.

As an N-sight RMM administrator, you can force users to reset their password immediately or the next time they sign in. For example, you might require this during a security incident or when enforcing a password expiration policy.

Password complexity rules

A user password must:

• Be at least 8 characters long.
• Contain no blank spaces.
• Include at least one uppercase and one number.
• May include special characters.
