Manage Cartridge Level, Paper Level, Interface and PING Checks

To add, edit or delete a check, select the target device in the North-pane of the Dashboard then navigate to the Checks tab in the South-pane.

For printers there are Cartridge or Paper level Checks and for routers, firewalls and switches there is an Interface Check.

Dedicated information is available for setting up a Custom SNMP Check on a Device or populating the Custom SNMP Check Library.

Add Check

1. Click the Add Check button
2. Select the Check to add to the device
3. Provide a Descriptive Name to identify the Check on the Dashboard (optional)
4. Configure as required
5. Click OK to save and apply the settings

Edit Check        

1. Highlight the check in the South-pane
2. Choose Edit Check from the Check drop-down or right-click context menu
3. Amend the settings as required
4. Click OK to save and apply the settings

The new check or updated settings are applied the next time monitoring runs on the device.

Delete Check

1. Highlight the check in the South-pane
2. Choose Delete Check from the Check drop-down or right-click context menu
3. Click OK to remove the Check

The right-click context menu is only available for the main Check and not its expanded elements. For example, the context menu is accessible from the Cartridge Level Check, but not any of its expanded toners.
