Manually add devices in a workgroup
If your environment does not have a domain to control administrative access and firewall settings, manually deploy agents to workstations and servers. Once installed, run a discovery job with a probe to find network devices such as printers and switches.
Before installing a Windows probe, add the customer or site to where you will be discovering devices and review the Prepare your customer environment topics to ensure everything is ready for deployment.
You can then import devices discovered by the Windows probe.
