N-able Take Control: Setup branding in the Admin Area

Description

  • How to setup your own company logo(s) through the Take Control Admin Area
    • You can set up:
      • a company logo, which will appear on the left corner of the applications: Applet, Agent and browsers applications such as End-User Area, startcontrol.com and Surveys

      • a secondary logo, which will appear in the middle of your Applet and Agent, in a bigger size than the company log

      • a system tray icon , which appear on your OS

Environment

  • N-able Take Control Plus (Standalone)

Solution

  1. Login to your Admin Area;
  2. Navigate to Profile > Identification;
  3. Select the BASIC INFORMATION tab;
  4. Press the Choose Image button;
  5. Set your company branding information. Read more about customizing company branding here.
    1. Under the Company logo section, upload your own light and dark theme logo(s). These will appear on the Applet, Agent and browser applications such as End-User Area, startcontrol.com and surveys.

      File extension restrictions for your company logo: .JPEG, .JPG, max size 512 KB. Ideal resolution: 320 x 100 pixels.

    2. Check Hide N-able branding to hide the N-able logo.
    3. Under the Secondary logo section, upload your own secondary logo that will appear on the middle of your Applet and Agent, in a bigger size than the Company logo.

      File extension restrictions for your secondary logo: .JPEG, .JPG, max size 512 KB. Ideal resolution: 1004 x 164 pixels.

    4. Under the System tray icon section, upload your own light and dark theme icon(s) that will be shown on your OS.

      File extension restrictions for your system tray icon: .BMP, max size 195.31 KB. Ideal resolution: 48 x 48 pixels.

  6. Click Save.
