Server - Alert Configuration
One of the core element of a monitoring system is the generation of notification when a problem is detected. With N-sight RMM you can configure alerting when a problem is reported (Check fails or server goes overdue) and setup a subsequent recovery notification when the problem is resolved (Check passes).
The recovery notification is particularly useful when used with an email based ticketing system to close the ticket for the Check outage or to make any on-call technicians aware of the change to the Check status.
The system allows you full control over when these notifications are generated and their delivery method (email and/or SMS). You can configure Check Alerts at the Global or (as covered below) or Check level and decide on whether Servers generate an Alert when they fail to report in.

Single Alert on Daily Safety Check failure
Daily Safety Check failures on devices running Windows Monitoring Agent version 10 will only send a single notification (email or SMS) when the Check initially fails until the Check passes, rather than send a notification every time the Check fails.
Clearing a check, which then subsequently fails will also not resend an alert.
