Apple iOS app permissions

To access the N-sight RMM mobile app, the user must have Mobile Apps permissions enabled.

  • Mobile Apps: Allow or block users from signing in to the mobile app.
  • Private Notes: Allow or block users from viewing private (technical) notes in the mobile app. Use this to prevent private notes from appearing in the app. For example, when granting access to end-client user.
Most app features, such as clearing checks, are always enabled regardless of the permissions set in the All Devices view. Exceptions include Private Check Notes and Take Control, which follow the permissions configured in the N-sight user interface.

Client access

The app is Client Group aware, so users only see devices that belong to the clients assigned to the them. By default, Mobile Apps permissions are disabled for Client role users.
