View the command log

The command log lists the commands sent to a device and displays the result of the command, the user who sent the command, and the date and time it was sent. You can view the command log from the Device Management for Apple Devices tab or the All Devices view North-pane.

View the command history log from DMA

  1. On the vertical menu, select Dashboards > Device Management for Apple.

    The Devices tab displays including device name, serial number, OS version, profiles and more.

  2. Select the checkbox for the device and select View details.
  3. Select Command log.

    The command log displays. You can sort or search the table by column, and you can use the Columns chooser to select the columns to display.

View the command history log from the All Devices view

  1. On the All Devices view North-pane, select Workstations, Mixed, or Mobile Devices.
  2. Right-click the target device and select Commands > Command History.

    The command log displays. You can sort or search the table by column, and you can use the Columns chooser to select the columns to display.
