Renew a server token

Apple server tokens expire annually. When you add a server token for a customer, the expiry date displays in the Apps tab. You must renew tokens to avoid interruption of service.

Step 1: Select the server token to renew

  1. On the N-sight RMM vertical menu, select Device Management for Apple.
  2. Select Apps.

All your customer tokens display showing the token status, the number of apps purchased with that token, and its expiry date.

There is one token for each customer.

  3. Select the target token(s) and select Renew token in the top menu, or use the action menu for the token and select Renew token.

  4. Select Open Apple Business Manager to go to Apple Business Manager and sign in using your customer's account.

Step 2: Download the server token from Apple Business Manager

  1. In the customer's Apple Business Manager account, click the user name > Preferences > Payments and Billing.
  2. Select Apps and Books.
  3. Find your server token in the list and select Download.

Step 3: Upload the server token to Device Management for Apple

  1. In Device Management for Apple, go back to the Renew server token wizard and select Next.
  2. Select browse, or drag and drop the token downloaded from Apple Business Manager into the box.

  3. Select Next.
  4. Review the customer and token details, and select Confirm.

The server token is renewed in the Apps tab.
