Permissions for Android app
To access the N-sight RMM mobile app, the user must have Mobile Apps permissions enabled.
Permissions
- Mobile Apps: Allow or block users from signing in to the app. By default, this permission is enabled for Standard, Administrator, and Superuser roles, and disabled for the Client role.
- Private Notes: Allow or block users from viewing private (technical) notes in the app. Use this setting to prevent private notes from appearing, for example, when giving access to an end-client user.
Most app features, such as clearing checks, are always enabled regardless of the permissions set in the All Devices view. Exceptions include Private Check Notes and Take Control, which follow the permissions configured in the N-sight user interface.
Client access
The app is Client Group aware, so users only see devices that belong to the clients assigned to the them. By default, Mobile Apps permissions are disabled for Client role users.
