Add a Script Check - Multiple Devices

Script Checks may be added on a single device or multiple devices.

Add (File Menu)

  1. Go to File > Add Check
  2. In the Add Multiple Checks dialog click Choose Check
  3. Select Operating System
  4. Choose Check frequency
    1. 24x7 Checks
    2. DSC Check
  5. Select Script Check
    1. Apply To: Choose the entity level (all Workstations, specific Clients or Sites. Devices matching the selection are displayed in the main window)
    2. Add New and configure
      1. Select the script

        2. Scripts are displayed and grouped by function in expandable and contractable sections with the ability to search for a script).

        Only scripts associated with the device's Operating System and uploaded for Script Checks are displayed.

      2. Click Next to configure the script
      3. Enter or configure the script parameters (if required)
      4. Set a Script timeout in the range 1 - 3600 seconds (default 120 seconds)
  6. Click Finish to save and apply
  7. Click Close to save and exit the dialog

Add (Device)

  1. On the N-sight RMM Dashboard North-pane, select the device
  2. Go to the Checks tab
  3. Click Add Check
  4. Choose the Check frequency
    1. Add 247
    2. DSC Check
  5. Select Script Check
  6. Configure the Check
    1. Select the script

      Only scripts associated with the device's Operating System and uploaded for Script Checks are displayed.

    2. Click Next
    3. Enter the Command Line parameters (if required)
    4. Set a Script timeout in the range 1 - 3600 seconds (default 120 seconds)
    5. To run an Automated Task when the Check fails choose Assign a Task after creating the Check (Windows and Mac)
  7. Click Multiple Devices
    1. Apply To: Choose the entity level (all Workstations, specific Clients or Sites. Devices matching the selection are displayed in the main window)
    2. Click Add New and configure
    3. Choose OK to continue
    4. Review the confirmation dialog
    5. Click OK to save and apply
  8. Click Finish to save and apply
  9. Click Close to save and exit the dialog

Add Multiple Checks and Choose Script
