Edit a script in the Script Repository
You can edit any script that you have permissions to using the methods below. When you save your edits, the script version number increments by 1.
Edit script via the Script name column
- Select Script Repository in the Left navigation.
- (Optional) Select a custom view or apply a custom filter.
- Locate the script in the Script Repository.
- Select the link in the Script name column. The Edit Script dialog will open.
- Edit the script configuration to meet your requirements. See Script configuration details for full details.
- Select Save when you have finished your edits.
Edit script via the Actions menu
- Select Script Repository in the Left navigation.
- (Optional) Select a custom view or apply a custom filter.
- Locate the script in the Script Repository.
- From the scripts Actions menu, select Edit Script. The Edit Script dialog will open.
- Edit the script configuration to meet your requirements. See Script configuration details for full details.
- Select Save when you have finished your edits.
Edit script via the Quick actions menu
- Select Script Repository in the Left navigation.
- (Optional) Select a custom view or apply a custom filter.
- Locate the script in the Script Repository, and select the checkbox on the left of the script.
- Select Edit from the Quick actions above the Create filter button. The Edit script dialog will open.
- Edit the script configuration to meet your requirements. See Script configuration details for full details.
- Select Save when you have finished your edits.
Edit script via the Script details panel
- Select Script Repository in the Left navigation.
- (Optional) Select a custom view or apply a custom filter.
- Locate the script in the Script Repository, and select the script row (not a link in the row) to open the Script details panel.
- Select Edit Script from the options at the top of the Script details panel. The Edit script dialog will open.
- Edit the script configuration to meet your requirements. See Script configuration details for full details.
- Select Save when you have finished your edits.
