Patch Management for Windows Configuration

Patch Management for Windows is configurable to match your customer's requirements, from the scan schedule to how patches are handled based on their classification and whether failed patches generate an alert.

There are two options to configure Patch Management for Windows:

• Create Patch Management for Windows Feature Policies and apply as required
• Manually setup the settings file for each selected entity (legacy method).

The following configuration areas (other than General Settings) are common to both configuration methods:

• General Settings (Patch Feature Policy Only)
• Patch Status Check (Scan)
• Approval
• Installation Schedule
• Failed Patch
