Hide a distribution group from the Global Address List
By default, distribution groups are shown in the Global Address List so that users within an organization can see and use these groups when sending emails. However, you can hide a distribution group from the Global Address List if needed.
In Cloud Commander, follow these steps to set a distribution group's visibility in the Global Address List:
Requirements
- You must be assigned the User Groups Administrators role scoped to the tenants you want to manage.
Show or hide an existing distribution group in the Global Address List
- In the , select Identity > Groups.
- If the group list is empty or you can't find a specific group, refresh the page to show the most recent data.
- Filter or search to find the distribution group you want to show or hide.
- Use the action menu for the group to select Set visibility, or select the checkbox for the group and select Set visibility.
You can also Set visibility from the group details Summary tab. See View groups and group details.
- In the Set distribution group visibility dialog, select the option to either show or hide the group in the Global Address List and select Apply.
