Best practice for RBAC in Cloud Commander

Since roles allow for such granular settings when assigning them, if role-based access control (RBAC) is not performed efficiently, it can become time-consuming with the potential for human error when repeatedly performing a similar action.

Because of this we strongly recommend you manage roles through groups using the following order of tasks:

1. Create a group or use a default, existing, or imported group.
2. Assign roles to the group.
3. Assign members, which can be users or other groups, to the group.

Although we recommend you manage roles through groups, there may be times when you need to assign roles to individual users. See Assign platform roles.
