Install Automation Manager

Installing Automation Manager requires some configuration. To use Automation Manager, review and complete the steps listed in the checklist below:

Step 1 – Upgrade Agents and Probes

 
Step 1-1 - Review the Agent/Probe Overview Report, to determine which versions of the Agent and Probe are installed.
 
Step 1-2 - Upgrade Probes.
 
Step 1-3 - Upgrade Agents.
Step 2 - Install Windows Management Framework Core package (which includes Windows PowerShell and Windows Remote Management) on the remote devices.

Once you have ensured agents and probes are up to date, and the other windows components are installed, you can complete the installation of Automation Manager.

  1. Expand Actions in the left navigation pane.
  2. Click Start Automation Manager.
  3. Click the link to download the Automation Manager application (AutomationManagerSetup.exe).
  4. Open the downloaded executable file to start the installation.
  5. In N-able N-central, click Launch Automation Manager.
