KBA91002: Troubleshooting AV Defender upgrades

AV Defender are now automated and no longer require manual action.

When the Maintenance Window allows it, the agent checks sis.n-able.com for available AV Defender upgrades. If an upgrade is available, the agent installs it and restarts the computer once the installation is complete.

After the restart, the agent verifies the current AV Defender version. If the version does not match the latest available version, the agent initiates the upgrade again, provided the Maintenance Window permits. The agent will continue to retry the upgrade until it succeeds.

This process relies on permissions by the Maintenance Windows configuration.

Contact support if AV Defender upgrades do not install automatically.
