N-able FIPS 140-2 Compliant Components Letter

N-able provides this FIPS 140-2 Compliant Components Letter to inform federal government customers which encryption algorithms are used in theN-able Take Control product. This document is based on instructions found in the NIST Cryptographic Module Validation program document and outlines that the N-able Take Control product, for the purposes of establishing the remote sessions, only runs the cryptographic modules listed. N-able Product Versions

This document covers the N-able product versions listed below. Service Releases generally contain bug fixes that do not impact FIPS compliance. Accordingly, all Service Releases (identified by an incrementing third set of digits) for listed versions are also certified.

N-able Take Control uses FIPS (140-2)-compliant cryptographic library modules to help improve security between Windows® and Mac® devices. All versions of Take Control operate with AES256 cryptography.
