  2. From the list of tasks, select the Automated Task you want to edit, and then select Next.

  3. Update the task name or script parameters as needed, and then select Next.

  4. From the Select Frequency Method list, review or change how often the task runs. Configure schedule settings if needed, and then select Next.

  5. Update the frequency settings if needed, then select Next.
  6. In Edit Task Device Confirmation, confirm the device where you want the updated task to apply.
  7. Click Apply Edit to save changes.

You can edit Automated Tasks in bulk for selected devices or at the Client or Site level.

    • Multiple devices in the North-pane: Use Shift + select for a range or Ctrl + select for specific devices. Right-click one of the selected devices and choose Task > Edit.

The selected devices must use the same operating system for the Task option to display.

    • Client or Site level: In the Client List of the All Devices view, right-click the target Client or Site, choose Task > Edit, and then filter tasks by servers or workstations.

  6. In Edit Task Device Confirmation, confirm the devices where you want the updated task to apply.

Task edits are applied to all selected devices, including offline or overdue devices, with the changes communicated to the devices the next time they check in to the N-sight RMM user interface.

  7. Select Apply Edit to save the changes.

You cannot edit the parent Automated Task. This option is available only when you select a unique Automated Task.
