Category Filtering

The Web Protection Policy Category Filtering section controls website access based on URL categorization. For an explanation of each category, see Website Category descriptions.

The dialog lists the main categories and each category expands to display associated sub-categories, which enables more granular filtering.

You can select a parent category, or one of its sub-categories, and select Allow, Block or Schedule.

When you select an action for a parent category, the setting is automatically applied to all of its children, although you can also edit each individual sub-category as required.
