Description

  • The Patch Status Scan has failed, because the Patch Management Engine hasn't been successfully installed
  • The Request Handler Agents and File Cache Service Agents have been successfully installed

Environment

  • N-sight RMM
  • Patch Management Engine

Solution

  • To resolve this, Patch Management needs to be re-installed:
    1. Double click the device in question
    2. Navigate to Patch Management, and change the setting to Off, then click OK
    3. Right click the device and Run Checks
    4. In the Summary tab, wait until Patch Management shows as Not Installed
    5. Then perform steps 1-4, instead changing the setting to what was set previously, and make sure that the Summary tab shows Active
