KBA45026: Scheduled Reports Not Running

Issue

If your scheduled reports are not running (this sometimes happens after migration to a new server, on upgrade, or as a result of problems with SQL Server Reporting Services), the schedules are highlighted with a red background and the following error message appears on the Scheduled Reports screen:

The scheduled reports highlighted below are incomplete and will not be delivered. To rebuild them, select the schedule(s) & click 'Rebuild' or consult KBA45026 for guidance on how to resolve this problem.

Solutions

  1. Click the Rebuild button on the Scheduled Reports page to rebuild the schedule.
    1. When a scheduled report is broken, the Rebuild button automatically appears on the Scheduled Reports screen. If for some reason it hasn't shown up on this page, you can manually add it by selecting it in Advanced Settings. For more information, refer to Modify Advanced Settings to set the RebuildSubscription.Visible to True.
  2. If the schedule doesn't run after you try the Rebuild button, edit the scheduling parameters.
    1. On the Scheduled Reports screen, select the checkbox for the schedule you would like to rebuild.
    2. Click the edit scheduling parameters icon .
    3. Verify your settings by ensuring that all fields are filled in, and if the report is being sent to a file share, ensuring that all the details for the file share have been filled in.
  3. If all else has failed, call Technical Support.
