Modify Advanced Settings

You can edit the settings that are available on the Advanced Settings screen. You can also find the Report Manager build version number in the bottom left corner of this page.

Editing these settings may impact the operation of Report Manager. These settings should only be edited on the advice of N-able Technical Support or by an advanced user of Report Manager.

  1. In Report Manager, click the gear icon in the upper right of the Reports Console window.
    In N-able N-central, navigate to Administration > Report Manager > Administration Console.
  2. Click System Setup and Logs.
  3. Click Advanced Settings.
  4. Click Edit for the parameter you want to edit.
  5. The Value field for the parameter becomes editable.
  6. Type in the new Value.

    If you are using SSL, you must set Enable HTTPS access to True.

  7. Click Update to save your changes.
  8. If required, click Push Settings to All Data Sources.

    You must Push Settings to All Data Sources if you change any of the communication parameters. If you update advanced settings before configuring any data source, this is not necessary.

    For example, use Push Settings to All Data Sources when you are updating the IP Address or FQDN of the Report Manager server or the protocol used for communication between the Report Manager and central servers.
