Workflow for using a Template
If you have installed Service Pack 2 for SQL Server 2008 R2 or greater, you need to use a stand-alone Report Builder 3.0.

For more information, refer to How to Access Report Builder.
- Open Report Builder 3.0.
- Close the Getting Started page.
- In the upper left-hand corner of Report Builder, click the icon and click Open.
- Navigate to your Report Manager server. (http:// <IP address > /reportserver).
- On the Report Manager server, click Templates.
- Click the Template you would like to open.
- Save the report locally.
- Configure as required.
- Run the report in Report Builder to preview it.
- Upload the report to Report Manager.
