Unlock a user
A user can be locked out of N-able N-central after a number of failed sign-in attempts, for both a normal log in or with multi-factor authentication. After a set amount of time, the user will be able to attempt to log in again. If they need access right away, you can unlock the user so they have access to the system again.
You can set the number of failed login attempts a user can make before being locked by clicking Administration > User Management > Password Setting.
- Click Administration > User Management > Users.
- Select the check box for the desired user and click Unlock.
The icon in the Lock Status column changes to an open padlock and the user can attempt to log in again.
If the user has forgotten their password, you can also reset the password.
