Run automation policy or script on a Mac device

You can upload a script or select a script from a repository to run on a managed Mac device. Learn how to Add content to the N-able N-central repository.

Run an automation policy or script on a Mac

  1. In the left-hand navigation menu, click All Devices and click the device name.
  2. Click Tools > Task Execution.
  3. In the Type drop-down menu, select Automation Policy or Scripting.
  4. In the Repository Item drop-down menu, select an item and complete the relevant details.

    5. If you select Custom Credentials, enter the User Name and Password to be used.

  5. Click Run.

In the display pane on the right, the current status and results display. Click Refresh Now to update the information on policies that are being run on the device.
