Add a path from the NetPath dashboard

Create NetPath paths to review performance details of device connections to internal and external locations.

You can only create paths on devices that have NetPath installed and enabled, and you have Manage permissions for NetPath.

1. Click Views > NetPath.
2. Click Add.
3. Select the device at the beginning of the path and click Next.
4. Enter the destination address, either IP address or URL in the Hostname or IP address field. For example, www.google.com.
5. Enter a port number and the time between path checks. The minimum interval is 5 minutes.
6. Click Next.
7. Review the information and click Finish.

The new path appears in the NetPath page. Click the link in the Endpoint column to see the pathing information.

Viewing a path over a VPN connection may show a small number of hops which is not representative of the true internet path.
