Restore a device system state

If a user's computer becomes unusable, you can perform a system state recovery. The system state recovery restores the operating system with its configuration.

To perform a system restore, you need to configure the backup profile to include the System State Backup.

The hardware you recover to must be the same type (model) as the source of the backup.

  1. Click ConfigurationBackup ManagerN-able BackupDashboard.
  2. Click the name of the device and click Launch backup client.
  3. In the N-able Backup window, click Restore, then System state.
  4. Click the System state check box and click Restore.

N-able Backup restores the system from the cloud to the selected device.
