Run an automation policy or script on a Mac device

You can run a script on a managed Mac device to perform troubleshooting activities. The direct support tool enables you to select and run Automation Manager policies or other script on a managed device.

First, add a file to the N-able N-central repository, if needed.

1. In the left-hand navigation menu, click All Devices.

2. Click the name of the Mac device.

3. From the top bar, click Tools > Task Execution.

4. Next to Type, select Automation Policy or Scripting.

5. Select the repository item and set the other specifications.

6. Click Run.
