Send a message to mobile devices

Send a text message to a mobile device to contact a user directly. If you need to contact a user regarding their mobile device immediately, you can send a text message to the mobile device, rather than sending an email. This can be useful if there is a need to shut off or reboot the device to complete an update for security reasons.

1. Click Views > All Devices.
2. Click the Mobile Devices tab.
3. Select the check box next to the device (or devices) and click Send Message.
4. Enter your message and click Send Message.

The message appears on the mobile device as a text message.
