Remotely enable the passcode lock on a mobile device. Locking a mobile device activates the security lock so that the passcode or PIN must be provided to continue using the device. If you have customers who do not have a passcode on their lock screen, enable it automatically to ensure that the content on the device is secure in case of loss or theft.
- Click Views > All Devices.
- Click the Mobile Devices tab and select the check box next to the device (or devices).
- Click Lock.
The passcode lock becomes enabled on the mobile device. The next time the user uses the mobile device, they will need to enter the passcode as defined in the MDM passcode profile.
