Data export overview

Export data from the central server database to a database on an MS SQL Server. Use the exported data as your raw data source to create custom reports and applications in other reporting or spreadsheet tools to provide statistical information to your customers.

This feature is only available to OnPremise and product administrator accounts.

Before exporting data, you need to set up an account on the MS SQL Server that the N-able N-central server can access. This account must have read-write access and the ability to create and update data tables.

You can schedule the data export to run daily or hourly. The first time data export N-able N-central runs a data export, it creates data tables for the MS SQL Server database. On the next data export job, the incremental data in the existing tables are updated.

The data export from N-able N-central supports MS SQL Server 2000 and MS SQL Server 2005.
