• How to preset a password on Take Control (N-able)

Environment

• N-sight RMM
• Take Control (N-able)

Solution

1. Navigate to your Dashboard.
2. Click Settings>Take Control>Policy.
3. Hit New/Edit.
4. Click on the Security tab.
5. Under Authentication method choose Preset Password .
6. Define your password.
7. Save.
8. Apply the policy on the desired devices.
