Generate API Key

Successful integration between Remote Management & Monitoring and Service Desk relies on the use of the Data Extraction API to generate tickets and transfer information from the Dashboard into Service Desk. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure an API Key is created for the Dashboard before performing any integration.

  1. In the Dashboard go to Settings - General Settings - API.
  2. Click Generate alongside the API Token field to generate an API key.

Note - If an API key already exists and you want to create a new one, click Regenerate.
