Supported script types

The Windows Agent supports these script types if an interpreter installed:

• AMP
• DOS Batch
• JavaScript
• Perl
• PHP
• PowerShell
• Python
• Ruby
• VBS
• CMD

The Linux Agent and Mac Agent support shell scripts and interpreted languages with an installed handler such as:

• Perl
• PHP
• Python
• Ruby

Script size and output limits:

• Maximum script size: 65,535 characters
• Maximum script output size: 10,000 characters

You can run custom scripts on servers and workstations using this product, but we don’t manage or validate them. We’re not liable for system, hardware, or data loss. Customers or developers must confirm the integrity and impact of any custom scripts.
