StorageCraft ShadowProtect

The StorageCraft ShadowProtect Backup Check uses the Windows Application Event Log  on the local device to determine the status of any backups that have completed in the preceding 24 hour period. We query the following Event ID to determine the success or otherwise of the backup jobs.

Event ID	Status
1120	Success
1121	Failure

The Check passes where the specified number of success messages and no failures are discovered.

Since the Backup Checks poll the device for the backup results, the results in N-sight RMM are those reported by the Backup software being monitored. If the reported result is Completed with Errors, Completed with Warnings, or a similar response, we recommend you investigate the device the problem and ensure the Backup software can backup the expected data sets.
