Select Recording Location

The Take Control (N-able) Windows Viewer enables you to store your session recordings. These sessions recordings are in the FLV format. The media player requires an FLV codec to playback the recordings.

To select a custom recording location when in the Viewer:

  1. Click the three vertical dots in the top right of the Take Control (N-able) Viewer.
  2. Select Video Storage Location > Custom to change (or Default for the standard location).
  3. If you selected Custom, navigate to the target folder for recordings.
  4. Click OK.

Default Windows Video Recording Location:
C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Take Control Viewer\FLV

If you have installed to a custom location:
DRIVE:\...custom-install-location...\FLV
