Quest Rapid Recovery

For Quest Rapid Recovery we query the native "apprecovery.log" on the local device to determine the success or failure state of any backups that have taken place in the preceding 24 hour period.

The Check passes where the minimum "Number of backup jobs to check for" are met and no backup failures are recorded.

Please note, the check retrieves the timestamp information from apprecovery.log and supports the following twelve and twenty-four hour formats:

dd/mm/yyyy

mm/dd/yyyy

yyyy/mm/dd

dd/mm/yyyy

mm/dd/yy

dd/mm/yy

yy/mm/dd

d/m/yy

In addition to the above formats, the separators . and - are also supported. For example dd.mm.yyyy or dd-mm-yyyy

Since the Backup Checks poll the device for the backup results, the results in N-sight RMM are those reported by the Backup software being monitored. If the reported result is Completed with Errors, Completed with Warnings, or a similar response, we recommend you investigate the device the problem and ensure the Backup software can backup the expected data sets.
