Processor Utilization

Processor Utilization is the percentage of time a core/processor is occupied compared to the total time the core/processor is available for use. For example, if the CPU is occupied for 45 seconds during a minute, its utilization for this period is 75%.

To determine the Processor Utilization, the Agent polls the processors every five seconds and when the average for any processor exceeds the threshold over the Agent cycle (5 or 15 minutes), an Alert is generated.
